Due to the weather conditions, traffic conditions, or suspension of operation, we may have a possibility not to achieve all the activities. The tour will be attending to following alternative places or giving ou t a gift as a compensation depending on a situation at that time. Refunds will not be given for these changes. (Swan Lake Cruise Ship on Lake Yamanaka, Lake Ashinoko sightseeing boat, Odawara Castle, Oshino Hakkai, Hakone Sekisho, Minaka Odawara, Fujisan World Heritage Center, Hakone Shrine)
If you are late for the tour start time, you will not be able to join the tour mid-way.
We will attend an alternative place instead of 5th station due to traffic regulation of Mt Fuji hill climb on 1st June.
Please handle the loading and unloading of your luggage from the trunk yourself. (Including wheelchairs, stroller etc..)

A:The tour takes you to the most places by bus, but some places as Hakone Shrine, you need to take the stairs to go up. Escalator is also available.

Incredible, didnt get to go to the 5th station because of the weather and the fact it was snowing on the way lol, but it was an awesome trip and really loved the stops along the way and had a clear and pristine view of Mt. Fuji.

Good opportunity to see countryside Mount Fuji and Hakone. Very enjoyable but weather dependant and be prepared for crowded locations. This maybe particularly true for weekend trips.

Excellent tour, great tour guide!

I booked this tour for the last day of my Japan trip and it was well worth it. Yume was our tour guide, she was enthusiastic and had a great sense of humor. She managed a large tour group quite well. The only negative about this tour activity was that the snow level of Mt Fuji was too low for us to visit the 5th Station, the backup plan was a touristy village - which was a bit of a disappointment. But I understand weather and snow levels are beyond anyone's control. Yume also provided very good instructions to use the Shinkansen from Odawara Station - it wasn't my first time on the Shinkansen, but I wish someone had given me the same guidance. Overall, I enjoyed the tour and would recommend this activity and Yume as a tour guide.

Disappointed

This trip should have been cancelled. Do to weather we were unable to go to stop 5 for photos of mt Fuji and we were unable to go up on the rope gondola. So we basically went for a bus ride and a boat ride. Lunch was horrible, even the guide ordered other food.

Disappointing Trip. No pictures taking.

If we had known that: 1. if we chose to eat lunch then we wouldn't have the time to take pictures at a great spot where Mount. Fuji is close and complete in the picture. 2. the trip had very limited and strict time at every spot where the tour guide would tell you "No pictures" while he pats on you and rushes you to hop on the bus. I would have never booked it. Buffet lunch, restroom break, souvenir shop in only 45 minutes at a great spot to take pictures with a great view of Mount. Fuji was pretty impossible. I understand that I chose a tour group, however, the train back to Tokyo station was on a free schedule, it was not booked for a specific time, why can't you spare ten or even just five more minutes for us to take some pictures? Then I realized that if we chose to go for lunch, then we did not have the time or privilege to take pictures at a great spot where you can see a close and full picture of Mount Fuji. You should've noted it in your options. The tour guides might go on Mount. Fuji every day or every week, I understand, it's their job. However, I spent my money and my holidays to be here; moreover, the weather is not always sunny in Tokyo and what frustrated me the most was, the day of my trip was a sunny and beautiful day! We could only see Mount. Fuji but couldn't take pictures. I was asking for just one picture and the tour guide told me "No pictures!", he kept patting me and my husband and rushed us on the bus. He told us it's already the time to leave. We were not late, we were right on time. Would one more picture really delay the whole trip?However, in the morning, he spent 10 more minutes to wait for other people to hop on the bus. Why couldn't he spare one minute for me to take just one more picture? Then we went on the afternoon schedule, the clouds came and covered some part of Mount. Fuji. We arrive at the train station around 16:30-16:40. We could hop on any train that goes to Tokyo, the tickets were not booked for a specific time, I have no idea then why so rush?

We were lucky and we got to see Mt Fuji with no cloud cover during the early part of the tour. We were able to go up to the 5th station up Mt Fuji which we were told would normally be closed this time of the year. The lunch at the Ninja Village was a nice surprise and the view of Mt Fuji from there was phenomenal. The cable car ride up from Hakone-en and the Lake Ashi cruise were fun. Tsubasa-san was our guide and he was a great. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He kept us on schedule without being pushy, explaining everything we need to know and do at every stop of the tour. Would highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a taste of the countryside in your Tokyo focused vacation.

Our family of 6 had an amazing day with Tommy and Suzuki! Tommy greeted us before we left for an adventure filled day with Suzuki our trusted driver. During our ride to Mt. Fuji, Tommy shared history and stories of Mt. Fuji along with phrases in Japanese. We arrived to such chilling temperatures at the top with an EPIC VIEW rarely seen of the chocolate covered peak sprinkled in pure white sugary snow. Lunch Buffet was a feast and loved every morsel. Then off to the lift to top of mountain with PANORAMIC pictures all around. Our cruise around the lake was tranquil and perfect way to finish our AMAZING day! ARIGATO and Mahalo Nui Loa Tommy and Suzuki!

Was great tour. Good value of money, well organised and informative about Japanese history and culture! Sights were magnificent. Lunch was a great buffet spread. Tour guide Lisa was very helpful and attentive. The driver was friendly and polite. One recommendation would be to supply at least a bottle water for the journey.
