What To Expect

Board your coach in Florence, and travel into the hills of Tuscany where the city of Siena awaits. Join a guided tour of the city with a visit to Siena Cathedral and Piazza del Campo. Then, make the most of some free time to set your own pace, and perhaps enjoy a coffee in the sun alongside the locals.

From Siena, return to the Tuscan countryside to explore the Chianti wine region. Stretch your legs with a stroll through a vineyard, olive grove and wine cellar, and refuel with a Tuscan winery lunch and wine tasting (upgrade).

After lunch, journey onward to San Gimignano with its medieval towers, cobbled streets and squares. Here, your guide helps you find top attractions on a map so that you can explore the town independently. You have about 1.5 hours free time to wander amid the town and its 14 towers

Travel from San Gimignano to Pisa: your final stop of the day. Follow your guide to Cathedral Square to discover Pisa Duomo, Pisa Baptistry, the monumental cemetery (aka Camposanto) and, of course, the Leaning Tower of Pisa. If you’ve booked an upgraded tour, you can climb the tower.

Return to Florence in the early evening, and finish your Tuscany tour with a drop-off at the start point.

Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Lavinia was wonderful, she kept us informed and entertained for 12 hours! She was truly personable, and you could tell she enjoyed what she did. The tour was a ton of fun, be prepared for some walking but each town you visit is so different in history and character that alone we would never have been able to learn or discover. The wine/lunch add on is 100% worth it, we left with 6 bottles of wine and the food was delicious. The farm is such an extraordinary and beautiful place. We also did the Pisa tower add on, the climb is doable and the view from the top is really something. We watched the sunset from the top and it was very memorable.

Amazing and beautiful ....

Amazing and beautiful . The food at the farmhouse was delicious. Seeing Siena, San Gignano and Pisa. Wow! Sergio our bus driver and Lavi were fantastic. Lavi was so engaging and informative as well as making sure we knew where everything was. I was not feeling well and she was so incredible in making sure I was ok. Go! I would do it again.

A beautiful day! A great way to see several attractions if your on a short time frame like we were. Tour guide was amazing, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
A MUST when visiting Italy

This was probably one of the best tours I’ve done. We were fifteen minutes late and I contacted the company they did not stop the tour (understandable) but they patiently assisted us in meeting our guide at the first spot. After we met with our guide Lavi, who by the way super sweet a native to Tuscany and very knowledgeable, we had an amazing, peaceful time. I recommend this tour to everyone!!!
Amazing Experience for the Price

Great time all around. Slightly rushed in Siena after the tour was done so definitely use your time wisely. The tour guides were amazing and the lunch at the family owned farm was worth the trip by itself. Pisa was nice but personal preference would’ve been to see cut that portion a little shorter for extra time in the other spots.
Go on this trip!

Really great day. Our tour guide Sara was amazing. Very comfortable coach and beautiful stops along the way with just enough time.
2 days in Florence
Juliann_H, Jan 2025
My 3 kids and I just spent 2 days in Florence and we would not have seen all we did without this tour. Although we felt slightly rushed when free time to explore was granted, it would have been difficult to see it all. Our tour guide in Siena was very knowledgeable. The highlight of the trip was the farm lunch at a winery in San Gimignano and the ride through the Tuscan countryside. Our tour ended in Pisa and a climb to the top. Would recommend and Victoria was great!

Sara was fabulous. Loved to hear all the stories and information about the region. Giuseppe was an excellent driver navigating the roads. Five stars for both.
Tuscany, Sienna and Pisa all in one day.

A full day out. A great way to expand on a visit to Florence. We had a wonderful guide, Alessandro. Such a brilliant personality with a wealth of knowledge.
We had a wonderful trip!

We absolutely had a wonderful day! Our tour guide, Alessandro, was so knowledgeable, responsible, and accommodating! The entire trip went so smoothly and even the lunch and wine tasting were delightful. Our bus driver was also nice and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a day trip exploring the surrounding towns of Firenze.
Terrific Tuscany

Climbing the Pisa Tower and the lunch at the winery was the highlight of our tour. The drive through the countryside was amazing.
A Wonderful Tuscan Experience
Anita_M, Jan 2025
Although it is a long day, you get to see and learn so much about Tuscany. Totally worth the time and price. We all had an amazing time. Alessandro, our guide, was absolutely wonderful, very entertaining and full of information. Our driver Giuseppe was an amazing, friendly and safe driver.
Perfect day trip

Our Tuscany Day Trip from Florence to Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, and the winery was phenomenal, and Alessandro made it an unforgettable experience! Alessandro is a true gem—charismatic, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so much about the region and Florence in particular, making the tour both educational and entertaining. His ability to connect with our entire family, including young children, was impressive; everyone genuinely enjoyed his stories and insights. The itinerary was perfectly balanced, allowing us to soak in the charm of each destination without feeling rushed. The lunch at the winery was delightful—an authentic taste of Tuscany! This trip was the highlight of our visit to Italy, and we cannot recommend it enough. Thank you, Alessandro, for making this day so special for our family!
Worth doing, this was incredible trip.

Even with the rain during part of the day, this trip was amazing. Our guide (Alessandro) was great, he really made the trip much more enjoyable and we learned a lot of history at the same time. I cannot recommend enough doing this trip.
Nice single day getaway!

We really enjoyed this day trip from Florence (despite some rain). Alex was an excellent tour guide and made the experience quite enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!
Great tour
Carson_s, Jan 2025
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. It is a long tour but is broken up nicely by the food provided at the farm house and time it takes to get from point A to point B. This tour provides an easy way to see more of Tuscany than just Florence. The tour guide is extremely knowledgeable and very kind and is more than willing to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

Great experience, Victoria was a great host. Careful of every detail being covered to make our experience as best as possible. Just would like to have more detailed info during Siena´s tour.

Victoria was an excellent guide. She was very cheerful, helpful, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed her the entire day. The trip seemed a bit rushed at each location. We would prefer more free time at each stop especially the lunch at the winery. It was great but too quick. The guide in Seina was very kind, but we could not understand her language due to the heavy accent. We would have preferred a self tour of Seina or a guided tour from Victoria.

We had a fantastic experience on this one-day tour! Walkabout Tours was very accommodating, allowing us to change dates despite Viator’s lack of assistance. The itinerary was packed but covered all the key spots, making the long day worthwhile. The food and wine pairing were outstanding, a real highlight of the trip. Our guide, Alessandro, was helpful and attentive, though his storytelling occasionally veered off topic and was hard to follow at times. Overall, a well-organized and enjoyable tour—highly recommended!
